If you have Samsung Victory 4G LTE from Sprint, you can root them with the following procedure. This procedure will work for Android OS 4.1.2 build LJ9, but if you still using the old Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich LH1, this procedure still work for your phone, but it is highly recommended to have an update first to Android OS 4.1.2 build LJ9 by using the Update Firmware option in System Updates before you continue the rooting procedure.

Steps to Root Samsung Victory 4G LTE (Sprint)

1. Turn of your phone
2. Run Odin.exe on your PC, A new window will be opened
3. Clock PDA and select TWRP.tar, make sure to uncheck the Auto Reboot and make sure no partition options are checked
4. Boot the phone in Download mode by pressing Volume Down + Power simultaneously, hold them until a confirmation screen appears and confirm by pressing Volume +
5. Connect to your PC and make sure that Odin detects your phone
6. Click start and wait the process until Odin says PASS
7. Disconnect the phone from your PC and unplug the battery from your phone
8. Plug the battery back in. While holding the VOLUME UP button, press the power and hold it until you see the green text that says “Booting into recovery”, release all buttons as soon as you see this screen
9. Click on Install in your System Recovery (TWRP), choose Busybox and SuperSU.zip
10. Reboot
