Step 1: Download Heimdal at its official website.

Step 2: Make your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 enter download mode by pressing  the Volume Down and power button.

Step 3: connect your tablet to your computer with a USB cable after it entered the download mode.

Step 4: Download the following files “gt-p3110.pit” and “boot-bjr.img

Step 5: Open Command Prompt and locate the folder of heimdall and the files that you have downloaded at step 4 and the type in  adb reboot download

Step 6: Launch heimdall-frontend, and go to the “Flash” tab.

Step 7: Load the attached pit file (gt-p3110.pit). In partition details, select “KERNEL”, and then click “Add”

Step 8: Click browse and the choose boot-bjr.img. Then, click “Start”.

Step 9: After the tablet reboots, enter the following command on CMD:

adb shell

./su

./gtab2-root.sh

    I did all this and I think it worked,but how do I get ClockworkMod Recovery on it and how do I check if its rooted?
